Unibank’s additional stock issue listed at NASDAQ OMX Armenia

YEREVAN, March 13. /ARKA/. On March 10, additional issue of common nominal stocks by UNIBANK OJSC was listed on NASDAQ OMX Armenia and included in the stocks’ Main list (A), the press office of the stock exchange reported on Monday.

NASDAQ OMX Armenia says in its news release that the additional issue comprises 13,962,749 stocks (ISIN – AMUNIBS10ER5) with nominal value of AMD 100, which will be traded under UNIB ticker symbol and will be allowed to manual and REPO trading as well. The total number of the Bank’s stocks listed is 172,886,525.

Unibanks was established in October 2001. In 2002, it introduced Unistream system. The bank’s principal shareholder is Ripatonso Holdings Ltd. In 2015, the bank was reorganized into an open joint stock company.

NASDAQ OMX Armenia is the only stock exchange currently operating in Armenia. On January 26, 2009, “Armenian Stock Exchange” ojsc was officially renamed as “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” ojsc. On June 5, 2009, “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” ojsc became the owner of 100% of the shares of the “Central Depository of Armenia” ojsc. NASDAQ OMX Armenia and Central Depository of
Armenia are among the main securities market infrastructure institutions in Armenia.

The stock exchange received its license from the central bank for organizing foreign exchange auctions on November 7, 2005 and forex trading was officially launched here on November 15, 2005. –0—-
