Life insurance system introduction program to be introduced in Armenia

YEREVAN, June 20. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia, jointly with the country’s government, is planning to work out a program of midterm development of insurance market for expanding pension system.

In its program for 2017-2022, the government says life insurance and other insurance products will be offered soon.

Besides, a capital market development program aimed at spurring stock and bond emissions by local companies will be worked out before 2018 and availability of financial services will be enhanced before 2019.

The government will do it in a bid to attract investments. –0—-
