Presentation of new banknotes to be held later this year – Armenian central bank head

YEREVAN, May 23. /ARKA/. Arthur Javadyan, the head of the Central Bank of Armenia, said Tuesday newly designed composite banknotes will be put in circulation after the presentation, which will take place by the end of this year, Hraparak reports.

According to the media resource, the design has already been approved.

Asked about allegations that the recent events in the country had a negative impact on the emission of the new banknotes, Javadyan said that the events have had absolutely no impacts on it. -0—
