Hakobyan said that a free duduk school is being built in Yerevan at Djivan Gasparyan’s initiative for socially unsecured children, and Unibank is supporting the construction.

The school attendees will take singing and dancing classes here and will become familiar with the world’s musical legacy.

And the most important is that they will take duduk-playing classes in this school.
«Our bank considers it its duty to support the construction of the school, and the support of the anniversary concert is the recognition of the invaluable contribution of Djivan Gasparyan to Armenia’s culture,» Hakobyan added.

Djivan Gasparyan, in return, expressed high appreciation of the culture ministry and Unibank’s support.

«I glad that the bank has supported the initiative of construction of a school for young duduk players,» he said. «Music is our people’s sole, history and future.»
