Armenian tax authorities overfulfil projected revenue collection rate

YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. The total amount of revenues collected by Armenian tax authorities in the first half of 2019 was by almost $120 million more than projected, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with the Armenian community of New York on Tuesday.

He said the government expects that the projected rate for the entire year will also be overfulfilled. According to the prime minister, all the funds raised additionally were used to increase the salaries of military personnel, doctors, teachers, as well as pensions.

The government’s projection of revenue collection for this year is 1.5 trillion. The projected spending is 1.6 trillion. drams; the projected deficit is about 150 billion drams ($1 – 476.10 drams). -0-
