Armenia’s external reserves increase by $77.5 million to $2.297.9 billion

YEREVAN, September 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s external reserves at the end of August 2019 stood at $2.297.9 billion, an increase of $77.5 million or 0.97% when compared with the previous month of July, the Central Bank said.

It said external assets in freely convertible currency at the end of August stood at $2.295.9 billion against $2,200.0 billion a month earlier.

According to the regulator, special drawing rights (SDR) at the IMF at the end of the reporting period stood at $2.0 million, down from $3.4 million in July 2019. -0-
