Armenia’s external reserves total USD 2 billion 849 million in late 2019

KAPAN, January 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s external reserves totaled USD 2 billion 849 million by the end of 2019 after growing 26% or by USD 590 million since late 2018, Armenian Prime MInister Nikol Pashinyan said Saturday at a news conference in Kapan.

“The Central Bank has bough USD 565 million over 2019 with no sales,” he said. “This is an unprecedented indicator in the Third Republic’s history, which ensures reliability and stability to Armenia’s financial system.” -0—
