Armenian central bank raises key rate by 0.5 percentage point to 10%

YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. Armenian Central Bank made a decision today to raise the refinancing rate by 0.5 percentage points to 10%.

The Lombard repo rate was also raised to 11.5%. The rate for commercial banks to seek loans from the regulator was raised to 8.5%, the press service of the Central Bank stated.

The last time the Central Bank changed the refinancing rate was on August 2, 2022, when it raised the key rate by 0.25 percentage points to 9.5%. -0-
