Armenia’s equity market capitalization surges by 9% to  AMD 278.7 billion

YEREVAN, April 5. /ARKA/. The insights of the March at Armenia Securities Exchange have shown a surge of market and trade values of securities. 

Government bonds

On the primary auction platform of AMX the allocation volume of government bonds has reached 44,7 billion AMD, which exceed the results of the same period of previous year by 115%. Trade value of the government bonds in March made 2,1 bln AMD. Total 33 trades have been concluded with treasury government bonds.

Corporate bonds

Corporate bonds show the same dynamic growth both in market value and trade value of securities compared to the indices of the same period last year. Market value of March reached to 412,2 billion AMD. Trade value in March 2023 reached more than 2,4 billion AMD, with 250 trades concluded. The number of corporate bonds traded at AMX reached 108.

REPO

Number of REPO agreements has increased to 1,6 billion AMD.

Equity

The same increase in dynamics can be seen in equity data. Trade value reached more than 193,5 million AMD, the market capitalization surged by 9%, reaching the total sum of 278,7 billion AMD, with 179 trades concluded. -0-
