The average market exchange rate for the US dollar to the Armenian dram, formed on the Armenian foreign exchange market as of August 24, 2026, increased by 0.22 points to 365.38 drams compared to August 21.

The international rating agency S&P Global Ratings affirmed the long- and short-term sovereign ratings of the Republic of Armenia at 'BB-/B', maintaining a positive outlook, the Ministry of Finance reported.

The total investment portfolio of commercial banks in Armenia at the end of June 2026 amounted to 1,933,341,220 thousand drams, a decrease of 202.38 billion drams, or 9.48%, year-to-date.

The total volume of investments by Armenian commercial banks in securities as of the end of June 2026 amounted to 1,922,826,829 thousand drams.
