The vacation season traditionally becomes a peak time not only for tourists, but also for scammers. One of the most dangerous schemes in recent years targets users of hotel booking services.

YEREVAN, August 11. /ARKA/. The average market exchange rate of the US dollar to the Armenian dram on the Armenian foreign exchange market increased by 0.19 points on August 11, 2026, compared to August 10, to 366.07 drams.

According to the decision of the Board of Unibank OJSC dated August 3, 2026, Mher Ananyan has been appointed Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.  

The total net profit (after tax) of Armenian credit institutions in the first half of 2026 amounted to 21.02 billion drams, compared to 30.73 billion drams in the first half of 2025 (a decline of 1.46 times, or 31.6%).
