VTB (Armenia) has updated the terms of its consumer loans secured by real estate, making the product more accessible and flexible for retail clients. The average market exchange rate of the US dollar to the Armenian dram, formed on the Armenian foreign exchange market on May 25, 2026, increased by 0.04 points compared to May 24 to 368.01 drams.

Stablecoins pegged to the Armenian dram will allow the population to make domestic payments and significantly reduce cross-border payment costs, stated Martin Galstyan, head of the Central Bank of Armenia, in response to a question from ARKA news agency.
