Average exchange rate of the dram to the dollar in January was 1.7% lower than a year ago

YEREVAN, February 10. /ARKA/. In January 2025, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar was 397.9 drams, which is 1.7% lower than in January 2024 (405 drams), according to a report by the National Statistical Committee of Armenia.

In January 2025, compared to December 2024, consumer prices and the exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar increased by 1.4% and 0.3%, respectively (the dram appreciated).

In the same period last year, the country saw an increase in consumer prices and the exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar by 1.2% and 0.1%, respectively.
