Dollar and euro exchange rates to the Armenian dram fell again, while the ruble rose

YEREVAN, August 17. /ARKA/. The average market exchange rate for the US dollar against the Armenian dram on the Armenian foreign exchange market, fell by 0.32 points on August 17, 2026, compared to August 14, to 365.82 drams.

YEREVAN, August 18. /ARKA/. The average market exchange rate for the US dollar against the Armenian dram on the Armenian foreign exchange market as of August 18, 2026, fell by 0.25 points to 365.25 drams compared to August 17.

Recently, there has been an increase in cases of criminals luring citizens into suspicious financial transactions using their bank accounts or cryptocurrency accounts, as well as e-wallets or cards to transfer criminally obtained funds, in order to conceal their true origin and beneficiaries, according to a statement from the Central Bank of Armenia's press service.
