Euro Rate Increases Slightly, as US Dollar and Ruble Drop

YEREVAN, August 20. /ARKA/. The average market exchange rate for the US dollar to the Armenian dram on the Armenian foreign exchange market as of August 20, 2026, increased by 0.3 points to 365.26 drams compared to August 19.

Recently, there has been an increase in cases of criminals luring citizens into suspicious financial transactions using their bank accounts or cryptocurrency accounts, as well as e-wallets or cards to transfer criminally obtained funds, in order to conceal their true origin and beneficiaries, according to a statement from the Central Bank of Armenia's press service.
