Pashinyan discussed new opportunities to improve investment climate in Armenia with EBRD President

YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. Within the framework of the second international conference “Global Gateway” in Brussels, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso.

The interlocutors discussed the current cooperation programs and development opportunities between Armenia and the EBRD.

Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted the bank’s involvement in various sectors of the Armenian economy, in particular, in initiatives aimed at the development of infrastructure, energy, communications and digital technologies.

Odile Renaud-Basso emphasized that the EBRD will continue to actively support the strategic reforms of the Government of Armenia and programs contributing to the development of the potential of the private sector.

The parties also exchanged views on new opportunities related to green energy, sustainable development and improvement of the investment climate. -0-
