Chuchuland – Where Fairytale Meets Lori (VIDEO)

YEREVAN, November 1. /ARKA/. Chuchuland Guesthouse, located in the village of Kurtan in Lori, transports tourists to a world of fairy tales surrounded by nature.

The guesthouse is positioned between the Dzoraget and Gargar gorges, offering a view that showcases Lori’s distinctive natural beauty: lush forests, cliffs, and canyons.

Founded by Hamlet Matevosyan, Chuchuland is now run by him and his family, who warmly welcome guests from around the globe, sharing insights into Armenian culture, cuisine, and the natural environment.

With extensive experience in the tourism sector, Hamlet has nurtured a dream throughout the years – to showcase Armenia’s beauty and history to visitors in a manner that truly reflects its worth.

Chuchuland serves not only as a guesthouse but also as an educational and community hub. Local children and youth gather here to participate in classes focused on patriotism, art, singing, and dancing.

Hamlet’s family is dedicated to ensuring that each visit aids in the education of the village’s youth and fosters community development. The Chuchuland Guesthouse benefits from the collaborative scholarship initiative of the ACBA Federation and Impact Hub.

Hamlet has applied the knowledge acquired from various courses and meetings over the past year to enhance his business.

“I did not achieve anything for Chuchuland by myself, nor could I have done it alone. The guesthouse is a gathering place for people, friends, and compassionate Armenians who genuinely wished to create something better. We have established a remarkable partnership with the ACBA Federation, whose primary aim was to exchange knowledge and experience. Thanks to the ACBA Federation, I engaged in several courses where I acquired new insights in marketing and finance,” states Hamlet Matevosyan. He emphasizes that this is crucial for embarking on a new business venture..

“I view this as collaboration rather than mere assistance, as the partners progress together rather than one guiding the other,” states Hamlet Matevosyan.

The Chuchuland Guesthouse is situated in the village of Kurtan within the Lori region (tel. +374-94-51-50-81).

ACBA Federation is the only major shareholder of ACBA Bank, possessing over 75% of the bank’s shares. By participating in ACBA Bank, ACBA Federation plays a vital role in advancing agriculture, small and medium enterprises in rural regions across Armenia, fostering community development, revitalizing and enhancing the business climate in these communities, and improving the welfare of all individuals involved in entrepreneurial activities in these areas.
