Central Bank of Armenia lowers refinancing rate for the first time since February 2025

YEREVAN, December 16. /ARКА/. At its meeting on December 16, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia has lowered the refinancing rate by 0.25% to 6.50%.

According to the regulator’s press service, the Lombard repo rate was also changed to 8.00% and the fund attraction rate to 5.00%.

This is the first reduction in the refinancing rate since February 2025. The Board of the Central Bank of Armenia continuously lowered the refinancing rate since June 2023, gradually bringing it from 10.75% to 6.75% in February 2025.
