Central Bank of Armenia maintains the refinancing rate at 6.5%

YEREVAN, May 5. /ARKA/. At its meeting on Tuesday, the Central Bank’s Board left the refinancing rate unchanged for the fourth consecutive time at 6.5%, the regulator’s press service reported.

The Lombard repo rate also remained unchanged at 8%, and the cash attraction rate at 5%.

The Board of the Central Bank of Armenia has been continuously lowering the refinancing rate since June 2023, gradually increasing it from 10.75% to 6.5% in December 2025.
