Central Bank of Armenia maintains the refinancing rate at 6.5% for the fifth consecutive time

YEREVAN, June 16. /ARKA/. At its meeting on June 16, the Central Bank’s Board left the refinancing rate unchanged at 6.5% for the fifth consecutive time, the regulator’s press service reported.

The Lombard repo rate, at 8%, and the cash attraction rate, at 5%, also remained unchanged.

The Board of the Central Bank of Armenia has been continuously lowering the refinancing rate since June 2023, gradually increasing it from 10.75% to 6.5% in December 2025.
