Armenian tomatoes will be exported to Europe

YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. With the support of Acba Leasing, Prom Group purchased 20 brand-new Volvo trucks, which will be used to export high-quality Armenian tomatoes to Europe as early as July of this year.

The company will export from its own farm. With the support of Acba Bank, the company built a fifth-generation greenhouse complex covering 10 hectares in the village of Nor Yedesia in the Aragatsotn region. This complex is unique in the region due to its high level of artificial intelligence implementation.

The greenhouse plans to produce 25-30 tons of premium tomatoes per day, which will be immediately exported.

“To deliver high-quality Armenian tomatoes to European consumers, with the support of Acba Leasing, we purchased the latest Volvo trucks, which will be used to export our greenhouse produce to Europe.” “Since the need for exports arose, we decided to create our own logistics capabilities,” noted Hayk Hunanyan, founder and CEO of Prom Group.

The purchased trucks fully comply with high European standards and are capable of transporting up to 22 tons of cargo, ensuring its impeccable safety during transit. The vehicles are equipped with the best technical solutions. When selecting them, special attention was paid to driver comfort.

“Acba Leasing has been cooperating with Prom Group for over six years. As part of this collaboration, the company provided leasing for construction machinery and equipment. Prom Group’s fleet has now been expanded with 20 latest-generation trucks, which will significantly contribute to the expansion of Armenian exports,” noted Vahagn Shmavonyan, Head of Supplier Relations at Acba Leasing.

Prom Group is currently carrying out excavation work for the construction of another 10-hectare greenhouse complex for growing tomatoes. As production expands, the company plans to add another 30 new trucks to its fleet in the near future.
