YEREVAN, September 8. /ARKA/. Unibank is successfully placing newly issued shares worth AMD 3.9 billion as part of Armenia’s first hybrid investment offering. Under the terms of the offering, the Bank provides investors with the opportunity to participate in the new share issuance and acquire perpetual bonds with an annual coupon yield of 13.25%. This new investment solution combines the potential for capital growth from investments in shares with predictable income from perpetual bonds, offering investors a more diversified approach to portfolio building. The offering is available until September 9, 2026.
Since conducting Armenia’s first IPO on the Armenian Stock Exchange in 2015, Unibank’s share price has increased by approximately 70%, while the free float has reached 10.7%. Over the past three years, the Bank’s shares have generated an average annual dividend yield of 10–12%. In 2025, AMD 9.3 billion in dividends was paid to the Bank’s shareholders.
Over its 25-year history, Unibank has established a strong position in Armenia’s banking system through strong financial performance, technological innovation and a customer-centric approach. Unibank was the first bank in Armenia to introduce AI-based credit scoring and continues to make significant investments in digital transformation, including enabling individuals to become Bank customers online through biometric identification.
Moody’s upgraded Unibank’s rating outlook to “Positive” and affirmed its long-term deposit ratings at B1, citing the Bank’s high asset quality, stable profitability and limited reliance on more unstable sources of funding.
The share prospectus was registered by Decision No. 1/210A of the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia dated May 13, 2026. The program prospectus for the perpetual bonds was registered by Decision No. 1/427A of the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia dated November 26, 2025, with supplements registered by Decisions No. 1/228A dated May 22, 2026, and No. 1/282A dated June 29, 2026.
