Average market exchange rate of dram rises against USD

Moody’s Ratings has changed the outlook on IDBank’s long-term deposit ratings to positive from stable.

In July 2026, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar in Armenia was 366.8 drams (in July 2025, the exchange rate was 384.1 drams).

The current level of Armenia's public debt is not a cause for concern, stated Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia Hovhannes Khachatryan.

The average market exchange rate for the US dollar against the Armenian dram, formed on the Armenian foreign exchange market, increased by 1.03 points on August 4, 2026, compared to August 3, to 367.01 drams.

The net inflow of cross-border transfers to individuals in Armenia, received from abroad through the Armenian banking system, amounted to $1.38 billion in January-June 2026, compared to $587.6 million in January-June 2025, according to a report from the Central Bank of the Republic.
