Inflation 3.1% in Armenia

YEREVAN, December 21. / ARKA /. In January-November 2009 inflation at 3.1% was recorded in Armenia compared to the same period in 2008.

This was reported by the ARKA News Agency on Monday by the National Statistical Service of Armenia.

At the same time, growth in consumer prices by 4.5% was recorded in November 2009 compared to December 2008.

In November 2009 inflation was recorded at 1.2% compared with October 2009.
According to the state budget, inflation in Armenia in 2009 is planned to be at 4% (± 1.5%). –0-
