Biggest 325 taxpayers pay by 1.5 billion drams less taxes in October

YEREVAN, December 21, /ARKA/. Armenia’s biggest 325 taxpayers paid a total of 16.1 billion Drams of taxes and other mandatory payments in 2009 October, by 1.5 billion Drams less than in 2008 October, the State Revenue Committee said.

The State Revenue Committee said also 325 biggest taxpayers accounted for 49.8% of all tax revenues in October. ArmRosGazprom, K-Telecom, MikMetal, Avshar Winery and RusAl Armenia paid 4.4 billion Drams of taxes less than in 2008 October.

The State Revenue Committee said also its officers conducted 61 inspections in October discovering 349.6 million drams of avoided taxes. ($1 – 375.14 Drams). -0-
