A collapse of the US currency market could negatively impact the Armenian market, stated Martin Galstyan, Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The net inflow of cross-border transfers to individuals in Armenia, received from abroad through the Armenian banking system, amounted to $728.1 million in January-April 2026, compared to $273.4 million in January-April 2025, according to a report from the Central Bank.

In Armenia, 12-month inflation in the consumer market in May of this year amounted to 4.2%, according to a report from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
