Ashot Osipyan Elected Chairman Of Union Of Armenian Banks

YEREVAN, March 17. / ARKA /. Ashot Osipyan, board chairman and executive director of Araratbank, was elected today unanimously chairman of the Union of Armenian Banks.

He has replaced Ararat Ghukasian, executive director of Byblos Bank Armenia, who was elected in 2009 November.

The Union of Armenian Banks was set up in 1995 succeeding to the Association of Armenian Banks. It comprises all 21 commercial banks in Armenia. -0-
