Armenia’s economic activity index grew by 7.7% in April

YEREVAN, May 20, /ARKA/. In 2011 April Armenia’s economic activity index grew by 7.7% from a year before, the National Statistical Service (NSS) told ARKA. It said also economic activity index in 2011 April rose by 4% from March.

Unlike the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) index, economic activity index is calculated by volume of implemented types of economic activity, and not on the basis of added value and does not contain net taxes on industry and financial mediation services, calculated in an indirect way. -0-
