Armenian dram devalues by 1.4% against USD in May

YEREVAN, June 1. /ARKA/. The Armenian national currency, dram, depreciated against the U.S. dollar by 1.4% in May from April at total 1.3-percent tumble in consumer prices, according to the data compiled by the National Statistical Service of Armenia.

Also consumer prices rose by 0.5% as the exchange rate increased by 6.2% in May from the same month in 2011.
