Armenia’s inflation reaches 5.5 percent in January

YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. Armenia recorded a 5.5% inflation level in January 2014 against January the year before, ArmStat told ARKA.

Consumer prices rose by 2.8% in the country over the month compared to December 2013, according to the report.

A 1.8% year-on-year increase was recorded in economic activity in January.

The planned 2014 inflation level is 4% (±1.5%) and GDP growth 5.2% under the budget.–0–
