No common currency discussions held in Customs Union: CBA board member

YEREVAN, February 25. /ARKA/. The Customs Union countries are not considering introduction of a single currency, member of the Central Bank of Armenia board Artur Stepanyan told a press conference Monday.

There were various limitations in currency policies of CU-member countries and harmonization is needed, Stepanyan said.

Russian ruble has influence on Armenian dram due to strong economic ties between the countries, and it will not increase much after joining the CU, he said.–0–
