Armenia has 1,335 ATMs

YEREVAN, September 16. / ARKA /. The number of ATMs in Armenia increased by 38 in the second quarter of this year reaching 1,335, according to the “Bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia” for the second quarter.

At the same time, the number of operating POS-terminals decreased by 30 to 6,959.

According to the Central Bank, 19 of 21 Armenia-based commercial banks issued and serviced plastic cards. They all are members of the Armenian Card payment system.-0-
