Inflation in Armenia recorded at 3.1% in Jan-Aug 2014

YEREVAN, September 19. /ARKA/. Inflation in Armenia was recorded at 3.1% in Jan-Aug 2014, the National Statistical Service reports.

Consumer price rose 0.7% in August, compared with the previous month.

According to the statistical report, economic activity stood at 4.1% in Jan-Aug 2014, compared with the same period a year before.

In the 2014 government budget, inflation is projected at 4% (±1.5%) and GDP growth at 5.2%. —-0—-
