Armenian Central Bank issues commemorative silver coin, “The Right Hand of Saint Gregory the Illuminator”

YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) has issued a new silver coin, “The Right Hand of Saint Gregory the Illuminator” to commemorate the reliquary kept in Holy Echmiadzin, the center of the Armenian Church, the CBA press office reported.

The nominal value of the coin is 1,000 drams, and the weight is 25 grams.

A total of 2,500 coins were minted of silver of 9250 standard, proof quality, diameter at 27.47mm. –0–
