Armenia posts 4.8% inflation in January-February

YEREVAN, March 20. /ARKA/. Armenia’s inflation level was 4.8% in January-February this year, as compared to the same period of 2014, the National Statistical Service (NSS) told ARKA.

The twelve-month inflation was 5.4% in February 2015, according to the report.

The NSS says economic activity rose by 2.5% in the reporting period compared to January-February 2014.

The budgeted inflation level for 2015 is (±1.5%), and GDP growth is 4.1% under the budget. –0–
