Consumer prices in Armenia rose by 4.8% in eight months

YEREVAN, September 22. / ARKA /. Consumer prices in Armenia in the first eight months of 2015 increased by 4.8% year-on-year, according to the latest data, released today by the National Statistical Service (NSS). It said also the 12-month inflation in August was 3.6%.

According to the NSS, economic activity in the same time span increased by 3.9% from the year before.

The government projection of inflation for 2015 is t 4% (± 1.5%). The GDP growth projection is 4.1%. -0-
