Armenian dram continues strengthening

YEREVAN, September 24. / ARKA /. The US Dollar has dropped today by 1.91 points against Armenian currency from September 23 to 474.62 drams, the Central Bank said. The dram has been gaining strength since September 11, when it was traded at 485.08 drams.

The Central Bank said also the cost of euro has grown from 530.23 drams to 531.62 drams, while the cost of Russian rubles has fallen from 7.21 drams to 7.15 drams.

No transactions with USD or euros were effected today at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The latest transaction there was made on September 22 when the greenback traded at 476 drams.-0-
