Armenia’s central bank cuts refinancing rate by 0.5 percent to 9.75%

The Central Bank of Armenia adheres to the "same risk, same regulation" principle when regulating digital and virtual assets, Central Bank Deputy Chairman Hovhannes Khachatryan stated on Friday at the 4Future Banking forum in Yerevan.

Armenia's public debt as of June 30, 2026, amounted to 5.12 trillion drams, compared to 5.30 trillion drams as of December 31, 2025, announced RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan.

The average market exchange rate for the US dollar against the Armenian dram, determined on the Armenian foreign exchange market, fell by 0.06 points on September 8, 2026, compared to September 7, to 363.64 drams.

Cube Invest has become the first investment company in Armenia to issue bonds on the local market, announced Cube Invest CEO Mikael Margaryan.
