Armenian central bank head to attend a gathering in Amsterdam

YEREVAN, February 11. / ARKA /. Armenia’s Central Bank chairman Arthur Javadyan and his deputy Vakhtang Abrahamyan have left for Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to attend a meeting of heads of central banks and supervisory management.

The gathering organized by the National Bank of the Netherlands will discuss the latest related developments, the key role of accountability and transparency in ensuring effective financial supervision, as well as a set of issues concerning the importance of effective activity of central bank boards.

In Amsterdam Javadyan and his deputy are scheduled to have a series of meetings with heads of central banks and financial institutions. -0-
