Gyumri branch of Converse Bank reopened officially

YEREVAN, September 17. /ARKA/. On September 15, the official reopening ceremony of Converse Bank’s Gyumri branch took place. It was attended by guests from Shirak regional administration, local self-government bodies, business community representatives, as well as members of Converse Bank Board and Management Board, the bank said in a press release.. The branch is located at a new address – 7/7 Yerevanyan Highway, Gyumri.

“This is the second regional branch of Converse Bank opened this year. Moving to a new premise, Gyumri branch has been equipped with all necessary conditions for rendering high-quality, comprehensive banking services to our customers in the best environment”, said Artur Hakobyan, Chief Executive Officer of Converse Bank.

Expansion of the regional network – the launch of new branches, renovation and improvement of conditions at the existing branches, affordability of products and services for the customers are among the priorities of Converse Bank’s activity. The Bank plans to launch another branch by the end of the year.
At present, Converse Bank has 3 branches in Shirak region; the portfolio of credit investments in the region exceeds the AMD equivalent of USD 12.5 million.

“Lending to small and medium enterprises and disbursement of mortgage loans to the population will remain among the Bank’s priorities in the region for the upcoming years. The Bank will adjust its lending offers to the needs of the sectors of development in the region, designing more competitive, tailored lending products. It includes the establishment and restoration of tourism infrastructures, various services, agricultural enterprises. In Shirak region, we have already funded a large modern greenhouse construction project, which has been successfully operating for a year by now. Such projects will be continuous”, – stated Artur Hakobyan.

After reopening of Converse Bank’s Gyumri branch, the Bank’s representatives and the guests visited the Theater Square in Gyumri to attend the event organized within the framework of the “Argentine Tango Week”.

Converse Bank CJSC was registered on December 20, 1993. The bank’s shareholders now are the Advanced Global Investments LLC (Argentina) with a share of 80.94%, the Armenian Apostolic Church ( 5%) and the HayPost Trust Management B.V. Company (14.06%). -0-
