Armenian president and ADB bank head discuss implementation of joint projects

YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian received Wednesday the Head of the Armenian Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Paolo Spintigati, the presidential press office reports.

Issues related to the cooperation with the Asian Development Bank, the process of implementation of joint programs in Armenia and strategy as well as economic developments were discussed at the meeting.

President Sarkissian introduced the ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) Presidential initiative and noted that it is aimed at the development of science and technologies in Armenia. One of the objective of the project is to ensure presence in Armenia of the world’s leading technological companies. -0—
