VTB Bank (Armenia) clients to receive their pensions before second working day of month

YEREVAN, September 14. /ARKA/. As a leading bank in Armenia in terms of payment of pensions and other government-funded allowances and payments and also aiming to provide the most comfortable service to its clients of retirement age, VTB Bank (Armenia) ensures that pensions are paid before the 2nd working day of each month from its own resources, while on the eve of the New Year holidays, the pensions are paid on December 31st.

The press service of the bank said that now all pensioners in Yerevan and the regions of Armenia can  receive their pensions through free Visa Classic or MasterCard Standard cards of VTB Bank (Armenia) with zero commission for withdrawing cash through its 205 ATMs located throughout the country, which are available 24 hours seven days a week.

The bank recalled that more than 115 thousand pensioners in Armenia, or 36% of all of them, receive their pensions through VTB Bank (Armenia).

VTB Bank (Armenia) has developed special products for clients of retirement age:

• deposit “Social” – the deposit amount starts from AMD 10 thousand, the term is from 61 to 365 days with  annual interest rate ranging  from 5% to 8.5% (annual yield is 5.03% -8.25%). At the client’s request, the bank also provides a pension card by which the client can cash out their pension not only in Armenia, but also abroad.

To receive a pension using VTB Bank (Armenia) cards, a client should submit an application to the nearest territorial subdivision of the Unified Social Service, presenting an identity document and social security card. The bank on the basis of the data received from the Unified Social Service, opens a card account, and from the next month the client’s pension is credited on the card.
