Armenian central bank raises refinancing rate to 8 percent

YEREVAN, February 1. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia decided today to raise the refinancing rate by 0.25 p.p. to 8%.

It has also raised the lombard repo rate to 9.5% and the borrowing rate to 6.5%.

The last time the Central Bank changed the refinancing rate was on December 14, 2021, when it raised it by 0.5 p.p. to 7.75%. -0-
