Levon Sahakyan elected new member of Central Bank Board

YEREVAN, March 4. /ARKA/. Levon Sahakyan has been elected today a member of Armenia’s Central Bank Board in a secret ballot by 69 MPs.

He was nominated for the post by the Civil Contract party that controls 71 seats in the 107-member parliament.

Sahakyan was born in 1984 in Yerevan. Since August 2021, he served as First Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Assembly. He combined this job with the duties of advisor to the Speaker of the Parliament. -0-
