Armenia’s 12-month inflation in late February 2022 was 6.5%

YEREVAN, March 3. /ARKA/. The 12-month inflation in Armenia in February 2022 was 6.5%, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

It said consumer prices in February 2022 were up 0.1% when compared to January of the same year.

Consumer prices in January-February 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, were up 6.8%.

The Armenian government’s projection of GDP growth in 2022 is 7%, and inflation is set at 4% (± 1.5%). The Central Bank expects the growth in 2022 to be 5.3%. -0-
