YEREVAN, August 13. /ARКА/. The Central Bank of Armenia has unveiled two more draft regulations for public discussion.
According to the press service of the Central Bank, these drafts are essential for the enforcement of the Law “On Cryptoassets.”
The draft Regulation 7/07, titled “Rules and Requirements for the Activities of Entities Providing Services with Cryptoassets,” has been presented for discussion, along with proposed amendments to Central Bank Board Decision No. 12-N dated January 26, 2026.
This decision outlines the requirements for the execution and archiving of registration records related to cryptoasset transactions, including their content and the process for submitting them to the Central Bank.
The Central Bank encourages all interested parties to provide their comments and suggestions on the draft regulations by August 26, 2026, via email at [email protected], using the subject line “Regulation of Cryptoassets.”
Submissions should include the sender’s first and last name, the name of the organization they represent, if applicable, and their contact information for follow-up.
Following the collection of feedback, the Central Bank plans to hold a meeting with representatives from the individuals and organizations that submitted comments to discuss their input. The feedback received, along with the Central Bank’s responses, will be made public.-0-
