ACBA Federation summarizes achievements for 2025

YEREVAN, August 13. /ARKA/. The ACBA Federation, dedicated to fostering innovative agriculture in Armenia, enhancing sector competitiveness, and empowering communities, has summed up its activities for the year 2025.

Key Highlights for 2025

Knowledge and Education

A total of twenty-four professional courses were conducted for representatives of farms (372 participants, with an average age of 45). From 2022 to 2025, around 800 beneficiaries took part in these courses. Subjects included high-value crop cultivation, beekeeping, and hospitality management.

Experience Exchange

A crucial factor for success in agriculture is learning from best practices. Eight group visits were organized (113 participants). In total, 41 visits (approximately 285 participants) took place from 2023 to 2025, featuring trips to several leading agricultural organizations in Armenia.

Startup Support

Ten new startups received funding. Since the program’s inception, 72 startups have been supported, with 73% of them already registered as businesses as a result of this initiative.

Community Development

The ACBA Federation has backed community development projects, promoting the execution of local ideas. Out of 95 applications received, five new rural tourism programs were selected and funded.

Support for Winemaking and Export Development

In partnership with GIZ and the Armenian Viticulture and Winemaking Foundation, the Winesofarmenia.store platform was launched to boost sales and orders of Armenian wines within the European Union.

The year 2025 marked a significant success in advancing a more knowledge-driven, competitive, and sustainable agricultural sector. The ACBA Federation’s mission remains steadfast—to create opportunities that nurture communities and rural culture across Armenia.
