Short-term government bonds worth 5 billion drams placed in Armenia

YEREVAN, January 17. /ARKA/. Short-term government bonds worth 5 billion drams maturing on January 15, 2024 were placed on January 16, Armenian Ministry of Finance reported today.

It said the demand for the bonds amounted to AMD 18.367mln.500 thousand. The weighted average yield on a bond is 11.77%.

Under the Armenia law, individuals’ income from government bonds is not taxed. ($1 – AMD 396.56). -0-
