VTB (Armenia) supports release of new edition of tale-story ‘Tsipili, Timbaka and Laughter’

YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. VTB (Armenia) partnered Newmag publishing house for the release of a new illustrated edition of a tale-story «Tsipili, Timbaka and Laughter” authored by a well-known Armenian writer, poet and playwright Saghatel Harutyunyan, the bank’s press office said.  

The tale-storey is part of a children’s collection “Yeraz, ‘Tsipili, Timbaka and Laughter” was first published back in 1985 and immediately became one of the most popular works among the young readers of Armenia.

It was reprinted several times in Armenian and Russian languages. Its new illustrated edition will be available in all bookstores of the country and can be ordered also online.

“One of the important directions of VTB (Armenia) is to support social projects. We are glad to have an opportunity to contribute to the development of the younger generation through cooperation with Newmag publishing house. This  unique and colorful book will become an integral part of the libraries of our young readers,” commented Ara Avagyan, Acting CEO, Board Chairman of VTB (Armenia).

According to Artak Aleksanyan, Director of Newmag publishing house, the choice of the book was not accidental. “Tsipili, Timbaka and Laughter” has been  popular for almost 30 years. 

“We decided to update it by adding modern illustrations. In partnership with VTB (Armenia), the new edition of the book will again become popular among the younger generation,” said Alexanyan.
