Armenia Securities Exchange rebrands to Armenia Stock Exchange

YEREVAN, August 27. /ARKA/. The Armenia Securities Exchange has officially changed its name in English to Armenia Stock Exchange.

“This change is a strategic move for both our clients and our international and local partners, aimed at enhancing the recognition of the Armenia Stock Exchange in global markets,” stated the exchange’s press service.

The update of the name across physical and digital platforms will be carried out gradually, with no need for changes in existing contracts or documents.

AMX is the sole operator of the regulated securities market in Armenia. In June 2022, the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WFB) acquired a 65.03% stake in AMX for 873 million drams (approximately $2.2 million), with 25.02% remaining under the ownership of the Central Bank of Armenia.
