Ranking of most profitable banks in Armenia based on results of first quarter of 2026

YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. ARKA News Agency has published a ranking of the most profitable banks in Armenia based on the results of the first quarter of 2026. The total net profit of Armenian banks for January-March 2026 amounted to 103.48 billion drams, compared to 101.18 billion drams for the same period in 2025, an increase of 2.27%.

According to ARKA News Agency’s ranking, the top five banks by net profit (after tax) for the first quarter of 2026 were Ardshinbank, Ameriabank, ACBA BANK, Araratbank, and Inecobank.

Ardshinbank was the most profitable bank in Armenia as of the end of March 2026. The bank’s net profit amounted to 33.12 billion drams, a decrease of 7.33% compared to the same period last year.

Ameriabank ranks second with a profit of 19.22 billion drams, a 19.99% increase compared to the end of March 2025.

ACBA BANK ranks third, with a profit of 7.59 billion drams in Q1 2026, a 2.49% decrease compared to Q1 last year.

Araratbank ranks fourth with a net profit of 5.12 billion drams, a 64.07% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Inecobank rounds out the top five with a profit of 4.93 billion drams, a 33.96% decrease compared to Q1 2025.

Total assets of Armenian banks as of March 31, 2026, amounted to 13.1 trillion drams, an increase of 16.67% compared to March 31, 2025.
