20,000 dram banknote of 2024 issue put into circulation in Armenia

YEREVAN, January 27. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia reported about putting into circulation from January 27 this year a banknote with a nominal value of 20,000 drams of 2024 issue, which is a legal tender on the territory of the country and is subject to unconditional acceptance at its nominal value without time limitations.
On the reverse of the 2024 banknote a visible color protective element has been added: the figure expressing the nominal value in the lower left corner is printed with optically changing ink.
On the obverse of the banknote the year of issue has been changed to 2024, as well as the signature of the Armenian Minister of Finance.
The banknotes of 20,000 drams nominal value issued in 1999-2021 remain in circulation without restrictions and without changes in circulation conditions.
